Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorships of any kind are opportunities for MUC to utilize unrestricted dollars towards our mission. Learn more about the different sponsorship opportunities below.

Corporate Sponsorship

Corporate sponsorship is a meaningful way to support MUC at its core. These dollars ensure that the Matt Urban Center has the means to carry out the finer details of its day to day to ensure smooth delivery of services to our residents and neighbors. Efforts in this category support larger technology upgrades, day-to-day operations and specific programs and events.

Event Sponsorship

MUC has a number of standing events and fundraisers that take place each year in which we can use your support. Ranging from in person events to online campaigns, these opportunities in focus and scale.

Trunk or Treat
This annual community event provides a fun and safe environment for residents of the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood to go trick or treating. Held in October each year, we invite community members to decorate their cars and area partners to table at this festive event.

Buffalonia
Our semi-annual in -person fundraiser that supports operating costs for the agency. This exciting event has basket and 50/50 raffles, door prizes and has featured the musical talents of Those Idiots in years past.

Cookies for a Cause
This annual cookie exchange features baked goods for a monetary donation each year. Proceeds go to the Matt Urban Center.

Santas of Swig
This annual fundraiser is hosted by the Sultans of Swig Home Brewers. Ticket holders sample over 20 home brews to vote for their favorite and proceeds benefit the Matt Urban Center’s Hope Center programs.

Program Sponsorship

Every donation and sponsorship counts and smaller incremental dollars from many add up to support some of our smaller and impactful initiatives.

Adopt
a
House

Adopt a House
This program helps our neighbors maintain safe and affordable housing to allow them to remain in their homes longer. It does so by providing assistance with minor repairs and security interventions.

Other Sponsorship Opportunities

Basket Raffles: Basket raffles are an ongoing opportunity for MUC to stay engaged with the community and bring dollars into the agency in a fun way. Baskets may be used as part of a basket raffle, at community events or as part of online fundraising and outreach efforts. Sponsorship in this category can be monetary to support us in purchasing items for basket raffles or in kind donations of completed baskets. Some typical basket ideas or items:

General Events and Marketing: As an integral part of East Buffalo, MUC attends a wide variety of events within the community to ensure residents have access to and are aware of our programs and services. General event sponsors are contributing to these events to provide funds towards these marketing and outreach efforts.
