Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer of a not-for-profit organization is an integral part of the executive management team and has the primary responsibility of the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the financial activities of the agency, including overseeing cash flow, preparing and reviewing budgets and tracking operational metrics, and risk management. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and staff; general bookkeeping, general ledger, payroll, day-to-day fiscal operations, budget preparation and reporting, and requisition filing.

Weatherization Crew Laborer

Laborers will work on client’s dwellings according to auditor’s work scope. The crew shall do all work assigned by the Crew Chief or the Energy Auditor. The crew laborer will know and abide by Standard Work Specification guidelines.

Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Worker will assist and work with the Maintenance Team in the performance of all grounds keeping, general maintenance and janitorial duties at all Matt Urban Center-managed facilities.

Housing First Case Manager

The Housing First Case Manager will know and understand the Housing First model with inclusion of the definition of chronically homeless and how to document/verify. They will perform a thorough assessment of all clients, evaluate independent living skills (ADLS) and work with client to foster maximum client self-sufficiency. They will complete, maintain and encourage Independent Services Plan(s) (ISP). This includes working towards client goals, updating and tracking progress at least every six months depending on goal(s).

Homeless Outreach Worker

The Homeless Outreach Case Manager is a field position that has the primary responsibility of successful engagement of street homeless and chronically homeless individuals in the City of Buffalo, assisting them with basic needs followed by housing.  Additionally, this position will assist with reporting and provide support for the Eviction Prevention Program.

Hope Gardens Community Health Worker

The CHW at Hope Gardens will instruct residents on activities of daily living, develop creative methods that foster community building and social development, and transport clients as needed. They will maintain timely case notes and service transactions in HMIS/BAS-NET.
