In 2017, the Matt Urban HOPE House provided emergency shelter for 620 women and women with children.
Hope House is a trauma-informed care, “focused” homeless shelter for women and children. The shelter provides safe and stable emergency housing. The goal of the shelter is to rapidly re-house guests into permanent housing. Aftercare services are provided to families and individuals once housing is secured to ensure a proper support system is in place.
“I was at a point in my life where I wanted to give up and quit, but coming to Hope House was the best decision I could have made. I will never forget what you have done for me and I promise I won’t take any steps backward. I am moving forward.”
